Our second album! "road trips and nose dives," an offering from Mentor, Ohio's BLOCK, is an indie disc of a caliber not often seen. With catchy songwriting, and impassioned vocal performances by guitarist Dan McCoy, BLOCK have managed to make a rock and roll indie that feels blue-collar without sounding like Mellencamp or Springsteen. The songs prove their worth. The trio has smart hooks that give the songs an "up" feel. Their music brings to mind Hootie/ Blowfish and Edwin McCain without being manic depressive.
